This shop is run by a small business in Addis Ababa. This page says what we hold about you, why, and how to make us stop.

What we ask for, and why. To send you an order we need your name, your phone number and the address it is going to. We ask for an email address so we can send you a receipt and tell you when your parcel has gone. If you drop a pin on the map at the checkout, we keep that point, because it is what we work the delivery charge out from.

Your address book is encrypted. The addresses you have saved are sealed before they are written down, and nothing in the shop sorts or searches on them.

What we do not do. We do not sell what we hold to anybody. We do not send marketing you did not ask for. There is no advertising on this shop and no tracking of you across other websites.

Paying. If you pay online, your card or mobile money details are typed on the payment provider's own pages and never reach us. We are told only that a payment succeeded, and for how much. If you pay cash at the door, no payment details exist at all.

The map. The checkout draws a map from a public map service, and your browser asks that service for the tiles it draws and for the name of the street your pin landed on. That request comes from your browser, not from us.

Cookies. Two: one that remembers what is in your cart, and one that keeps you signed in. Neither follows you anywhere else.

How long we keep it. An order and its paperwork are kept as long as the law requires us to keep records of a sale. Everything else — a saved address, a saved item, an account — is yours to delete.

Asking us to delete it. Write to us at the address on the contact page and we will delete what we hold, except what we are required to keep about a sale that really happened.
